| it was so nice seeing her smile when she opened that pink envelope. i couldn't help but grin myself, even though my day so far had been nothing short of crappy. as cliche as it might sound, i had that warm fuzzy feeling inside. if only there were more moments like that. this world wouldn't seem like sucha bad place, no? breakfast today consisted of container after container of raya cookies. i wanna be in a raya mood too okay, even if i don't celebrate it. neways, to those who are, selamat hari raya :) sorry la the green-ness is the most raya-ish i can get haha. pineapple tarts mwahahah here i come! | | |
| i stepped into the kitchen this evening only to be greeted by the warm scent of steaming white rice. to satisfy that rumbling noise my tummy was making, i pulled open the fridge door -now lacking all those colourful magnets - and shut it almost immediately. the contents were familiar and i knew there wasn't anything in there i felt like eating at that moment. then why did i open it? pointlessness.
i feel kinda suppressed with a strange mix of worry and disappointment. was it the wine i had? can't be, it's supposed to work the opposite way, isn't it? it was good wine though.
i wanna be out under the full moon and starlit sky lighting up colourful tang longs. but alas, the closest thing i've done to celebrate this festival was that piece of mooncake i had after dinner. which yeah, included white rice.
i think i'll go sky-gazing for a bit.
